Grandma is so sweet. Yesterday was my name day, an occassion the older generations of Swedes are very fond of celebrating, so she bought a new waffle iron just to cook us some waffles for lunch.

Oh, and perhaps you can enjoy playing "Guess The Stringed Instrument". Hint: Mum bought it in a city called Leningrad at the time.

60 years since my grandparents said that big yes to each other.
They had a little more than three beautiful decades together.

A little more than three beautiful decades together with a beloved one.
Sounds great, doesn't it?

Still, mum was barely 26 when grandpa passed away.
I'm 26 now.

A: Uhm... Is Dj Bobo a band?

And that clock tower is actually different from the one pictured 17.03.

Walked down to Tuna Motell (you know the white trashy motel/restaurant/convenience store/post office) in S-Town for some more postal errands, and on my way back home I was again asked a Europe-related question.

From a small mountain situated right behind the motel, three young girls, 7yrs perhaps, shout at me: Hey you down there, is Europe a part of Sweden?
